Yep, we're still in the past trying to catch up to the moment Rika exposed Satoko as a looper. The flashback in the previous season got us up to the start of that season from Satoko's perspective, so now we're getting all the details from those episodes that we couldn't know from Rika's perspective.

how is it the same? its from a different perspective. more explanation is being given as to why the things that happen, happen. there is definitely a difference and important differences as well. did you have any clue as to why the things that were happening on episode 1 of the previous season were happening? i dont think so. here is given from rena's perspective and satoko's perspective, as to take a look into why all of that went on.

I was all the time like: This is going down. This is going down.
And when both Rena and Rina got in the dam I was like: Oh shit Oh fuck.
That was really tense.

I feel like this show wastes time going over things we've already seen. Sure there are some differences but ultimately the same murders are happening. They should really keep it to Satoko's POV the whole time. We can fill in the rest cause we've already seen it

when people are completely unhinged, they become stronger than the average human. also, rina was disturbed and scared. some people become weaker when scared from someone else no matter their size, and some people just freeze in fear. same thing might have happened to her. it is very possible for that to happen, and rina isn't that much bigger than rena now, is she?
also, how is rena double faced? you are being quite shallow while watching this series lol. its not that black and white.
